We have a history of over 30 years of consistent research in the field of foam technology as a pioneer producer of foaming agents in the Middle East and the Sultanate of Oman, serving a wide range of industries with superior quality products.

What Is Firefighting Foam?
Fire Fighting Foam liquids are the ideal choice for extinguishing hydrocarbon fires. Fire Fighting Foam Concentrates, when diluted with water and mixed with air, produce stable foam bubbles. These bubbles have a density lower than most burning liquids and therefore float on the surface of most hydrocarbon liquids. Foam bubbles cool and cover the burning liquids and hence extinguish the fire.
In general, we have two main groups of fire fighting foams:
Protein based
Synthetic based
Protein based foaming agents are produced from hydrolyzing protein raw materials including plant and animal sources and make very stable foam bubbles, much more stable than most synthetic (detergent-based) foams. This effective parameter makes protein foams an efficient product in extinguishing large scale hydrocarbon fires.

Synthetic based firefighting foam liquids are made from synthetic foam detergents. Foam bubbles produced from detergents make larger foam bubbles compared to protein foams and have much lower bubble stability. Furthermore, synthetic foams, because of their detergent properties, when used under forceful applications including direct injection into hydrocarbon fires, mix (emulsify) with the hydrocarbon, making the foam bubbles more vulnerable to burn-back and reigniting.

Alcohol Resistant Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AR-AFFF)
PROTEIN FOAM
With international rules limiting the use of fluorocarbons in firefighting foam liquids, good quality protein foams can be a replacement for extinguishing hydrocarbon fires in some industries and also in training.
Protein foaming agents produce highly stable and copious foam bubbles which are resistant to heat and fire.
Bubbles produced by protein foams are more resistant to burnback and reignition compared to synthetic foams.
Protein foams can be used in Aviation, Marine, and different parts of the Oil Industry.
FLUORO PROTEIN FOAM (C6)
Flouro Protein Foam liquids use all the advantages of protein foams and have a higher tolerance to heat, fuel pick up, and re-ignition.
The foam is more fluid and covers the burning surface quickly.
Bubbles in fluoro protein foams are repellent to fuel pick-up and can be used in base injection and forceful applications and are mainly used in extinguishing huge hydrocarbon fires in oil storage tanks and oil facilities.
Our FluoroProtein foams use C6 fluorocarbons, with minimum environmental impact compared to AFFF foams on the market. This percentage is almost 6 times lower than C6 fluorocarbons used in AFFF foam liquids.
AR-FFFP
AR-FFFP foam produced by Nature Chems has the capacity to extinguish all hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires similar to highly effective FFFP foams. Moreover, it can be used with an induction rate of 6% for extinguishing polar solvents. The produced foam, when in contact with polar solvents, produces a resistant blanket and prevents the destruction of bubbles and extinguishes the fire effectively.
FILM FORMING FLUORO PROTEIN FOAM
Film Forming Fluoroprotein Foam has the power of extinguishing all hydrocarbon fires with high effectiveness. FFFP Foam has a similar extinguishing power as AFFFs. Moreover, the presence of protein-based materials in this foam causes it to be highly resistant to re-ignition. FFFP is an ideal product for extinguishing all hydrocarbon fires.
AFFF
AFFF has high fire knock-down power and is one of the best choices in extinguishing vast hydrocarbon fires with low depths like in oil spills.
One advantage of AFFFs compared to protein foams is the absence of any sediment after lapse of time, low corrosion rate and high shelf life.
The foaming agent can be used in the aviation, oil and petrochemical industries, power plants, military facilities, etc.
AR AFFF
Ordinary firefighting foam liquids are not capable of extinguishing polar solvents and the foam bubbles are immediately destroyed. Hence, AR-AFFF should be used for the purpose of extinguishing the mentioned materials. Alcohol Resistant foams are highly resistant to heat and can therefore be used for extinguishing hydrocarbon fires as well. Hence, these types of foams can be used for extinguishing both hydrocarbon and polar solvents in oil and petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, fire brigades, etc.
HIGH EXPANSION FOAM (NC-500)
Making use of the ability of producing large expanded bubbles, high expansion foams are mainly used in close areas like warehouses, mines and buildings and are suitable for LNG facilities.
EXTINGUISHER FOAM (NC-300)
NC-300 is a high quality readymade foam liquid for direct use in foam extinguishers and Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS). This product contains anti-corrosion and anti-freeze materials and other substances for extinguishing fire quickly by producing compressed and stable bubbles giving the system a high performance in extinguishing almost all types of fires including petrol and polar solvents.
TRAININGFOAM
NC-500 is a fluorine free bio-degradable foaming agent specifically formulated for drills and maneuvers. NC-500 can be used with all types of low, medium and high expansion systems.
