AR AFFFFirefighting Foams

Ordinary firefighting foam liquids are not capable of extinguishing polar solvents and the foam bubbles are immediately destroyed. Hence, AR-AFFF should be used for the purpose of extinguishing the mentioned materials. Alcohol Resistant foams are highly resistant to heat and can therefore be used for extinguishing hydrocarbon fires as well. Hence, these types of foams can be used for extinguishing both hydrocarbon and polar solvents in oil and petrochemical facilities, chemical plants, fire brigades, etc.
